The year is 1986. The month is December. I'm the trombone player on the left. I'm pretty sure this is the El Monte City Christmas Parade. I got to decorate my trombone, as you can see.
In Dec. of 1986, I was a 14 year old freshman. I think that I remember the other trombone player's name in the picture is Eric. He was either a junior or senior; nice guy.
Being in band in High School was such a great experience. I got to do a lot of fun things, and go to a lot of fun places. After trombone, I moved to tuba and drums. Good Times.
It's crazy to think that that was 22 years ago!
